QUIZ NIGHTS...........

If you're a quiz fan then the Horse & Jockey is the place for you.

We hold quizzes every Monday and Wednesday evening, starting at 20:45 and finishing no later than 22:30

Each quiz contains a wide variety of questions, and includes "Picture Round" (name the 10 personalities), "Read All About It" (10 current affairs q's), "Pop Music" (name the artists for the 10 featured tracks), "Trivia Trail" (10 general knowledge q's with a "last-letter, first-letter link"), "Connections" (4 gk q's with a fifth "what connects these answers") and finally a "Wipe-Out" round (10 questions with a 5 point bonus if all answered correctly, but a wipe-out if answering all 10 and getting one or more wrong).

Come along any Monday or Wednesday and try it out - it costs £1 per team member to join and all entrance fees are returned as cash prizes at the end of the evening.

We also have a "playing-card bingo" game at half-time in the quiz, again with a cash prize.
